Terms of Use

About this free tool

The Social Season Planner is provided free by Ellie Silvey, a UK sole trader. Contact hello@elliesilvey.co.uk with questions or concerns. These terms apply to this planner, not paid coaching, which requires separate terms.

General guidance

This tool is for adults aged 18 or over. It offers general educational guidance based on the occasion type and approach you select. It does not assess your health or provide personalised medical or nutrition advice. Using it does not create an individual coaching relationship.

The planner does not calculate a calorie deficit or guarantee fat loss or any other result. Adapt suggestions to your circumstances and follow any advice from your qualified healthcare professional. Do not use it for fat loss if that is unsuitable for you.

The colours describe your planned approach, not success or failure. This tool is not intended to encourage skipped meals, restriction to earn social occasions or compensatory exercise.

Your saved plans and backups

Entries save locally in the browser you use. There are no client accounts, automatic device syncing or coach access to your calendar. Another browser, private browsing, clearing site data or changing devices may make your saved plan unavailable.

The planner no longer offers downloads, printing or backup exports. Keep important bookings in your own diary. I cannot restore plans that have been removed from your browser. Do not enter sensitive medical information or identifying details about other people.

Personal use

You may use the tool and share the public link for personal, non-commercial purposes. You retain your rights in the information you enter. The planner’s original materials belong to Ellie Silvey or the relevant licensors.

You must not resell the tool, redistribute it as your own product, remove ownership notices or copy substantial parts for a competing commercial product. Do not misuse the service, introduce malicious code or attempt unauthorised access. This does not restrict uses permitted by law.

Availability and responsibility

I aim to provide a useful tool with reasonable care, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. I may update, maintain, suspend or discontinue it, with reasonable notice where practical. Keep a separate diary if you need a lasting record.

To the extent permitted by law, I am not responsible for losses caused by matters outside my reasonable control, including device or browser failures, or business losses from this personal-use tool. This does not exclude responsibility where the law makes me liable.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Email choices and privacy

Newsletter sign-up is optional. You can unsubscribe from marketing without losing access to the public planner. Calendar entries are not submitted to me unless you choose to send them separately. Privacy information is available through the planner’s sign-up form; contact me with any data-protection request.

Changes and applicable law

Updates will be dated here and will not retrospectively remove rights you already have. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers elsewhere retain mandatory local protections and any rights to bring proceedings in their local courts.
